the way i see myself as a designer has been distinctively shaped by my integrated design studies a few years back. i got to know a huge variety of different fields and problem solving tools during this time. the essential approach in this studies was to not restrict the search of design solutions to one single medium but to look at it in its entirety. Often projects didn’t start with a clear goal, but with a problem that often had to be solved by combining skills from different fields. instead of only specialising in one field, this study gave me a wide angle of the whole, and a broad mind for solving design problems.
